Question for a 20yr student with myopia of -2.0D & a post-traumatic nebular corneal opacity in her right eye::
1)photorefractive keratectomy
2)LASIK
3)radial keratotomy
4)epikeratoplasty

confused doubt is > (1) or (4)????

the answer is undoubtedly photokeratectomy as this is used for removal of superficial corneal opacities like nebula and causes flattening of anterior cornea,so thereby in correction of myopia also.had their been myopia of minus2 without nebula,the answer wd have been definitely lasik as lasik can cure myopia in range of minus2 and 12d.reference parsons 19 edition page 84 and 78
